What is the CYBHI Multi-Payer Fee Schedule?

The Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) Multi-Payer Fee Schedule is a California state program that allows public schools, including TK–12 districts, colleges, and universities, to be reimbursed by health plans and insurers for providing eligible mental health, emotional well-being, and prevention services to students up to age 26.

Through this program, Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District can continue to expand and sustain the wellness supports that students already receive at no cost to families.

As part of this program, families are asked to complete a consent form during the annual online enrollment or student update process. If you need to access the form outside of that process, a downloadable version is available in both English and Spanish. Completed forms can be returned to your student’s school site.

What Services does the School Provide?

✔ Classroom Health and Wellness lessons
✔ School nursing services
✔ Wellness check-ins and other healthcare support
✔ Social-emotional and skill-building groups
✔ School Counseling Services
✔ Case management and referrals to additional services
✔ Mental health counseling (grief, anger management, substance use, etc.)

Who is on the Health and Wellness Team?

The team may include:

✔ School nurses and health specialists
✔ School counselors, social workers, and psychologists
✔ Community-based therapists and behavioral health professionals
✔ Trainees (supervised by licensed professionals)

How Does Billing Work?

✔ You will NOT be charged for any services your child receives.
✔  If your child has insurance (Medi-Cal, private, or commercial), it may be billed for services, but 
✔ You will never receive a bill or copay from the school or your insurance provider. 

Privacy & Information Sharing

✔ All health and service records are confidential and stored securely.
✔ The Wellness Center team only shares information as needed to coordinate care.
✔ Some details may be shared with school staff (such as counselors or teachers) on a need-to-know basis to support your child.
✔ General,non-identifiable service data may be shared for research, program evaluation, and continued funding.
