The ELO-P/ASES Program

  • Has 2 main components
    • Recreational opportunities component (Extended Learning Opportunities Program)
    • Before and after-school program component (After School Education and Safety Program)
  • Serves students in grades TK - 6th.
  • Is accessible to unduplicated students who need access to the program components.
  • Has a student-to-staff ratio of 1:10 for TK & K students, and a staff-to-student ratio of 1:20 for 1st - 6th grade students.

Junction TK-8 and
Marylin Avenue STEAM Academy

  • Operates for at least 30 non-school days, including summer & other intersession days.
  • Complements the school days so students have access to no less than 9 hours of learning time/experiences (including the core school day).
  • Offers the following:
    • Homework assistance
    • Nutritious snacks and supper
    • Daily physical activities
    • Project-based activities
    • Field trips

Joe Michell TK-8

 

  • Maintains a partnership with various community partners such as
    • Livermore Area Recreation and Parks District (LARPD)
    • Pinot's Palette
    • KidStrong
    • Wishbone Sports, LLC
  • Students who qualify as unduplicated students (students with confirmed eligibility who are English Learners, Foster Youth, and/or students who qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch) are able to participate in recreational activities free of charge
