Unity Day is October 20, 2021

Celerate kindness, acceptance and inclusion in our LVJUSD community and all throughout Livermore by wearing and sharing ORANGE on Wednesday, October 20th! Share your pictures with us and post to your own social media using #LVJUSDUnityDay and #UnityDay2021.

Together with the Livermore PUblic Library and the City of Livermore we celebrate Unity Day  October 18 - 23 with a week full of activities and information to help promote a community full of love and support for all.

Unity Day was started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in 2011 as a way to raise awareness for bullying prevention. Participants are encouraged to wear the color orange and pledge to promote a culture of kindness, inclusion, and acceptance. More information about Unity Day can be found on PACER’s website: https://www.pacer.org/bullying/nbpm/unity-day.asp.

Visit @LivermoreSchools and @LivermorePublicLibrary on facebook this week for activities you can do with your children and family to support awareness for bullying prevention and support kindness, inclusion and accetance!
