Seeking Members - Parcel Tax Citizens' Oversight Committee

LVJUSD is seeking members to serve on the Parcel Tax Citizens' Oversight Committee. The committee meets monthly from January - May and will prepare an annual report that is presented to the Board of Education in June.

The Parcel Tax Citizens' Oversight Committee serves the Livermore community by providing assurance that the funds generated by Measure G are being allocated and disbursed in keeping with the intent of the ballot language. 

All Livermore students in grades K-12 benefit from this reliable source of funding which supports:

  • Advanced courses in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM);
  • Attracting and retaining highly qualified teachers (lower class sizes);
  • Elementary school science and technology specialists;
  • Keeping our schools safe and well-maintained; and
  • Up-to-date instructional materials and comprehensive curricular programs

Applications are due by November 30, 2021.
