Chromebook Problems?

Use the following guide when the chromebook has a weird random problem.

First, I'd like you to clear the cache files on your child's account.
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top-right, click More More.
Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
At the top, choose the time range All time.
Next to 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files', tick the boxes.
Click Clear data.
Next, let's see if the Chromebook needs to update:

Secnd, click the bottom right corner of the Chrome OS desktop.
Select the Settings icon.
Click About Chrome.
Click Check for updates.
To apply the update, click the arrow icon and select Restart to Update.

Third, if you or your child have installed any Chrome extensions (besides the ones the district has installed for all), please remove them, as they may be causing conflicts.

Finally, have your child log COMPLETELY out of the chromebook, click the little triangle next to their user name on the login page, and select "Remove user". Then have them log back in from scratch as a new user.
