Financial Aid & Scholarship Information for seniors

Now that college applications are wrapping up, seniors should start thinking about how they are going to pay for college. Seniors, along with the help of their parent(s)/guardian(s), are encouraged to complete one of the following free, online applications.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

OR

The California Dream Act Application (CADAA)

These applications are both open and must be submitted by March 2, 2022. Please click the links above to access the application. Not sure which application you should submit? Visit our Scholarship and Financial Aid website for more information on each application and resources to help you complete the applications.

The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) is hosting a variety of virtual, Cash for College workshops that are free and open to anyone. For more information about upcoming workshops, please visit https://cash4college.csac.ca.gov/

Seniors should also be applying for scholarships. Granada High School has a list of available scholarships on our website. Seniors are encouraged to check this list often for new scholarships and apply to any scholarships that they are eligible for. Click here for the updated list of scholarships. If you would like to be emailed when this list is updated, please complete this form. Scholarship search engines such as Fastweb and Going Merry, can be helpful resources.
