Apply for a Work Permit

Students interested in getting a work permit should complete the following steps:

  1. You must first be offered a job before completing a work permit request.
  2. Download and complete the GHS Work Permit Request Application. A parent and employer must complete their section of the application.
  3. Return the completed request to the Counseling & Career Center for processing. Please allow at least 24 hours for processing.

BETWEEN June 1 - June 21, 2022 - work permit requests should be dropped off at the Granada High School Counseling & Career Center.

BETWEEN JUNE 21 - JULY 18, 2022 - work permit requests should be dropped off to the summer school office at Granada High School between 8:30 am - 12:00 pm.

BETWEEN JULY 19 - AUGUST 23, 2022 - work permits are being processed at LVJUSD District Office (685 E. Jack London Blvd) on Monday - Thursday between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
