Hey Mats! Homecoming is Saturday, October 7th from 7pm to 10pm. Buy your tickets starting Monday, September 11th for $25 with ASB and $30 without ASB. Prices increase on September 25th. Are you interested in STEM? Come check out the National STEM Honor Society. We're dedicated to nurturing your passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. NSTEM offers a supportive community where students can explore their interests through hands-on projects, engaging research, and collaborative learning experiences. Introducing the Granada Chemistry Club! Chem Club is where students can receive tutoring and homework help in chemistry, tutor other students for volunteer hours, do fun labs, and participate in competitions. Chem club meets every other friday at lunch in Mrs. Cleveland's room, S-9.
Would you like to hold a koala? Pet a kangaroo? Spend 2 weeks learning about first nations culture in both New Zealand and Australia? Swim in the Great Barrier Reef, go to the Sydney Opera House or just see where the Women's World Cup was played? Join Photo Bailey on a trip in the summer of 2025. Granada will be offering the PSAT on October 26. All juniors will be testing and have been automatically registered. Freshmen and sophomores who would like to test must register online by September 18. The fee is $25. Visit the GHS website for more information on how to register.
Senior Information Night is on Wednesday, September 20 at 6:00 pm in the Student Union. Seniors who are applying to a four-year college are encouraged to attend with a parent to receive timely and important information about college admissions and applications. Seniors, please do not submit your college applications until after this event!
Be Aware: The City of Livermore will start work on a Storm Damage Repair Project. Students will not be able to use the trail underneath Stanley while construction is ongoing. The repairs are expected to be complete by October 31st, 2023.
