ATHLETICS

SENIOR ATHLETES: It is now time to apply for the Livermore-Granada Boosters Olympian Award Scholarship. The Olympian Award Scholarship is given to one female and male senior athlete from both Livermore and Granada High Schools who best exhibit achievement in athletics, scholastics, citizenship, and sportsmanship and maintain an above average grade point. A $2500 scholarship will be awarded to each winner. The other finalists will receive a $750 award. To apply for the Olympian Scholarship Award, visit livermoregranadaboosters.org. Applications must be completed by April 1, 2020.


CLASS NEWS

Guest Passes for Junior Prom are available in Student Services. If you are planning on taking someone to Junior Prom that is not a GHS student, you must submit a guest pass for them by April 21st. Be sure to start the Guest Pass process early! Junior Prom tickets will go on sale March 30th. Tickets are $60 with ASB and $70 without for the first week only. Jr. Prom will be held at the Corinthian Grand Ballroom on May 2nd.


COUNSELING AND CAREER CENTER

Today a representative from Azusa Pacific University will be in the Counseling and Career Center during lunch. If you applied to APU or are interested in learning more about the college, please come by.

Ni Hao! (it's pronounced knee how) Do you speak Mandarin or Cantonese? Would you like to be a Bilingual Tutor and receive credits toward graduation? If so, please come to the Counseling Office or see Ms. Ventura in Room P-26.


STUDENT NEWS

It's WEEK 2 of the March Madness book bracket. Come by the GHS library and vote for the best young adult book of 2019. You can vote once per week, and votes put you in weekly drawings for prizes, provided by the Livermore Public Library.
