SENIOR ATHLETES: It is now time to apply for the Livermore-Granada Boosters Olympian Award Scholarship. The Olympian Award Scholarship is given to one female and male senior athlete from both Livermore and Granada High Schools who best exhibit achievement in athletics, scholastics, citizenship, and sportsmanship and maintain an above average grade point. A $2500 scholarship will be awarded to each winner. The other finalists will receive a $750 award. To apply for the Olympian Scholarship Award, visit livermoregranadaboosters.org. Applications must be completed by April 1, 2020.
COUNSELING AND CAREER CENTER
Tomorrow we will be hosting an out-of-state college fair in the quad during lunch. If you're interested in learning more about out-of-state college options stop by to talk to the representatives. The following colleges will be in attendance: University of Arizona, Washington State University, University of Idaho, Baylor University, Purdue University and many more.
On Thursday, a representative from Azusa Pacific University will be in the Counseling and Career Center during lunch. If you applied to APU or are interested in learning more about the college, please come by.
Ni Hao! (it's pronounced knee how) Do you speak Mandarin or Cantonese? Would you like to be a Bilingual Tutor and receive credits toward graduation? If so, please come to the Counseling Office or see Ms. Ventura in Room P-26.
March Madness voting is happening in the library until March 31st! Come by the GHS library and vote for the best young adult book of 2019. You can vote once per week, and votes put you in weekly drawings for prizes, provided by the Livermore Public Library. Today is the last day to put in a WEEK ONE vote.
