COUNSELING AND CAREER CENTER

Today is the last day to register for the practice SAT/ACT tests on February 28. If you're interested in taking a full-length practice test, you must register in Student Services or online at the webstore for $25.

Are you interested in being a poll worker for the March 3 election? Stop by the Counseling and Career Center to pick up an application. You must be 16 years or older.

Hola! Bonjour! Guten tag! Ni hao! Konnichiwa! Seniors, applications for the Seal of Biliteracy are now available in the Counseling Office. Completed applications are due on April 17th. If you have questions about the requirements for the Seal of Biliteracy, please see Ms. Klingmann or Ms. Watson in the Counseling Office. And remember: the deadline to turn in an application is April 17th!

Jackson Ave Elementary School is looking for chaperones for their science camp trip in May. If you are interested in volunteering as a camp counselor, stop by the Counseling and Career Center for more information.


STUDENT NEWS

Parking Permits for Trimester 3 will be sold to seniors only Thursday, February 20 & 21 at lunch or after school in the Student Services for $15.00. You will not be able to purchase a permit if you are blocked for either Attendance or the Library. Not sure if you are blocked? Then check the lists posted outside Student Services. Parking Permits will then be sold on a first come first serve basis starting Monday, February 24. If you do not have a permit for Trimester 1 or 2 then come by Student Services to pick up an application. Please be advised that you will need to show your student ID and Driver’s License to purchase a parking permit.

The GHS & LHS spring musical is coming! Auditions will be held after school during the first week of Trimester 3 (March 2-6) at Livermore High. See Mrs. Haberman in room 510 for more information.

Granada students, our LOST and FOUND is over flowing with lost shoes, jackets, sweaters and water bottles. If you lost any items, please come by student services and check the lost and found. All items that are not claimed by March 2 will be donated.

Have you seen the posters around campus asking you to vote for Zero, Blad, Lili, and Jake? Want to know more? Come see "Zero to Infinity", a hysterical political farce at the GHS theatre performing February 20, 21, and 22 all starting at 7pm. There's also the matinee on the 19th at 2:30pm. Tickets are $7 for general admission, $5 with ASB. Don't forget to get your votes in!
