Attention boys soccer players: There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 9th at lunch in the little theater.


Attention Seniors: Your senior panoramic picture is scheduled to be taken on Wednesday, October 16th at 11am on the home side of the football stadium. Please be there! More information can be found on the Class of 2020 page on the website, or you can see Mrs. Advincula in Student Services if you have questions.

Attention Seniors: Caps and gowns and announcements oh my! You should be receiving an envelope in 3rd period with information on ordering your caps, gowns and graduation announcements. Please take this home and review with your parents/guardians as Jostens will be here on Thursday and Friday, October 10th and 11th, in front of the Student Union at lunch to accept orders. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Advincula in Student Services!


Do you love science and problem solving? Come to the Science Olympiad Club meeting on Tuesday's in room S-4. We work on fun and engaging biology and engineering projects to enter in the National Science Olympiad competition. You can compete or just drop in. It looks great on college applications. Make sure to stop by!



Seniors, join us for Senior Information Night on Wednesday at 6:00 pm. Two separate sessions will be held simultaneously to provide an overview of the college timeline & application process. One session will be for community colleges (Little Theater) and another for 4-year universities (Student Union). These sessions will include: - Application timeline & process - Application assistance options - How to send SAT/ACT scores - How to enter trimester courses into applications - Transfer opportunities and process. All seniors are encouraged to attend.

Attention all AP students – AP Exam Registration is now open. By now, you should have received a join code which allows you to enroll in your AP class through College Board. You MUST be enrolled before you register for the exam. Exam purchases are done through our Webstore or at Student Services during lunch or after school. The last day to order exams is October 25th. All orders after this date will incur a $40 late fee in additional to the $100 exam fee. AP courses that begin Trimester 2 will have a separate exam registration in January. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Keck in the Counseling Center.

Juniors and seniors, the District Attorney's Justice Academy is offering an exciting opportunity for you to learn about the justice system and work at a paid summer internship. Stop by the Counseling and Career Center to pick up an application.

Today a representative from Texas Christian University will be in the Counseling and Career Center during lunch. Tomorrow a representative from the University of Oregon will be in the Counseling and Career Center during lunch. Come by to learn more about these colleges.

Seniors, on Monday we will be hosting a UC Personal Insight Question Workshop during lunch in the Little Theater. This workshop is being hosted by UC Berkeley. If you are applying to a UC campus, you are encouraged to attend.


AP exam registration is now open. Students can order exams on the Granada webstore or at Student Services during lunch or after school. Please see Ms. Keck in the Counseling and Career Center if you have questions.

Granada students, if you didn't get your picture taken during Matador days or would like a retake you can come by the Student Union and have your picture taken today, October 3rd. They will be in the student union from 11:00am-1:00pm.

Granada student, if you lost a jacket, shoes or water bottle we might have it here at student services. Please come by and check our lost and found. Anything not picked up will be donated.

Granada student, remember Friday is non student school day. Enjoy your 3-day weekend.
