Granada High School Bulletin for Wednesday, May 15, 2019

Attention Varsity Athletes: Olympian Banquet tickets are now available in the Counseling office. Come by to pick up your free ticket to the banquet on May 20th.

Granada students come out on May 31st to Buffalo Wild Wings for a fundraiser. The class of 2022 is raising money for their class and could use your help. Just show your waiter the flyer and the class of 2022 gets 15%. Don't forget to come out and support the class of 2022.

Juniors, you can earn off-campus privileges for the last two regular days of school by being to school on time for every day of CAASPP testing. Those tests will take place from May 20 through May 24, so get a good night’s sleep, eat a good breakfast, and arrive on campus by 8:00 am ready to show what you know. Juniors who attend on time each day will receive their off-campus tickets the week after testing.

Seniors: Completed Disneyland permission slips are due to Mrs. Advincula in Student Services no later than Friday, May 17th. Remember, if you want to ride the same bus with a friend, or a group, designate one person to return the completed permission slips (no more than 10 in a group), and we’ll do our best to accommodate those requests. Any incomplete or late forms that are turned in will delay the process for your group, so please make sure you have them in on time and they are complete. If you have any questions, please stop by Student Services and see Mrs. Advincula.

Hey Granada! Red Cross wants your help! Donate your used mascara wands to the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge. They will use the wands to clean and care for wild animals. Boxes will be placed in S-2, Student Services, and the Girl's Locker room. The boxes will be collected on May 20th.

Guest Passes for Senior Ball are now available in Student Services. If you are planning on taking someone to Senior Ball that is not a GHS student, you must submit a guest pass for them by May 22. Be sure to start the Guest Pass process early! SENIOR BALL TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW! Ticket prices $70 with ASB & $80 without ASB. Tickets go on sale May 6 and the last day to purchase is May 23 @ 3:30pm.

AP testing has started. For those students who are taking an AP test, please check our website for more information about AP testing, what to bring and testing locations. Students should bring their student ID card, #2 pencils, pens, water, snacks and a lunch. Good luck to all the students testing over the next two weeks.
