ATHLETICS

Granada High come out and support our Volleyball teams at Buffalo Wild Wings on April 18th. Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 15% of your total bill from 5:00pm-11:45pm that day. Bring your family and friends out to the first St location and help out the Volleyball teams.

CLASS NEWS

ASB Elections are LIVE! Vote today. The link and login information is on the Granada website. Also, if you are interested in running for class office, grab a packet outside the leadership room today. Class office packets are due by next Monday and there will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in running this Thursday in the leadership room.

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES

The next Red Cross Blood Drive is Thursday April 25th. You can sign up in your 3rd period class with a pink sign-up sheet or in S-2 with Mrs Miller. 17 and 18 year old's can also sign up using the RC Blood app or online at redcrossblood.com.

Tomorrow Granada will participate in the Day of Silence which is a nationwide event to bring awareness to the silencing effect bullying can have on LGBTQ students and their allies. If you would like to participate, come to the GSA Club meeting today at lunch in room S3.

COUNSELING AND CAREER CENTER

Croce Elementary School is looking for volunteers for their Family Science Night on Wednesday, April 17. If you'd like to earn volunteer hours, please stop by the Counseling and Career Center to sign-up.

The Alameda County Fair is now hiring. Stop by the Counseling and Career Center to pick up an application.

Attention Seniors: The deadline to apply for the Seal of Biliteracy is quickly approaching! If you have taken the equivalent of four years of a foreign language OR have passed a foreign language AP exam, you may be eligible. Pick up your application in the Counseling Office. They are due by April 12th.

Seniors: Have you volunteered in the community during your high school years? If you have logged 100 hours or more of community service, you may be eligible to receive the Red Honor Cord for graduation. Please come to the Counseling Office to pick up an application. All applications are due May 10th. No late applications will be accepted.


STUDENT NEWS

The Powder Puff informational meeting is on April 10th at lunch in the Leadership room. There are packets available outside of the Leadership room and the game is on May 17th. There is also going to be a boys dance team if we receive enough participants.
