CLASS NEWS

SENIORS: IF you haven’t placed your cap/gown and grad announcements order yet, you must now order online at Jostens.com or mail your order directly to Jostens. The final deadline to place your grad order is November 8.

SENIORS: Who's going to Disneyland in May? The Grad Nite event at Disneyland is on May 28 and May 29 this year. The cost is $330 and there is a payment plan available. Please see Ms. Advincula in Student Services for more information.

The Class of 2021 is having a fundraiser to raise money to make Winter Ball great! Please go to Casa Orozco between 11:30 am- 9:00 pm on Thursday and bring your fliers that can be found in the office! Thank you so much!

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES

Join our Spanish club meetings on Wednesdays, during lunch in room P-9. Everyone is welcome! Spanish tutoring has started again. If interested in receiving tutoring or becoming a tutor, inquire with Mrs. Gracia room P-9.

It's time for the Granada Theatre fall play! Detective Partner Hero Villain is set in the world of super heroes and looks at what happens when a person loses sight of where they fit in. Shows are November 8, 9, 15, 16, and 17 starting at 7pm . General admission is $7, and $5 with ASB. November 14th is the Wednesday matinee starting at 2:30pm with ALL tickets just $5.

Granada's Choir and Orchestra is having their trimester concert Thursday, November 8th in the Small Gym at 7PM. Come hear the music from Sound of Music, Fantasia, and Halo as well as many others. We'd love to have your support!

COUNSELING AND CAREER CENTER

Need help with your college applications, the Counseling and Career Center is hosting applications workshops today during 5th period and after school in room 304. Come by and start your applications, work on them or have us review them before you hit submit!

Seniors, please join us for our annual Financial Aid Night tonight to learn more about the FAFSA/California Dream Act, types of financial aid, what you need to apply and more. This event will be held at Livermore High School Theater tonight at 7:00 pm. Stop by the Counseling and Career Center for more information.


STUDENT NEWS

Granada students please don't forget to buy your YEARBOOK. It will be on sale through December 20th. The yearbooks are on sale for $95.00.

PARKING PERMITS for Trimester 2 will be sold to seniors only today, Wednesday, November 7 and November 8 at lunch and after school in Student Services for $15. Parking Permits will then be sold to everyone on a first come, first serve basis starting Friday, November 9. If you did not have a permit for Trimester 1 then stop by Student Services to pick up an application.

FRESHMEN and SOPHOMORES:: Freshmen and sophomore students and their parents who are interested in learning more about Granada’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme are invited to attend an informational meeting tonight from 6:30-7:30 in the Student Union. Topics will include: the IB diploma program requirements, course offerings, earning college credit through IB coursework, and information from IB teachers and current IB diploma students. We look forward to seeing you there!
