CLASS NEWS

SENIORS: If you would like a senior ad in the 2018/2019 yearbook you must start working on them now. They are due November 15, 2018. If you purchase by Nov. 15 you will get a discount on the price. You can get all the details HERE.

SENIORS: Who's going to Disneyland in May? The Grad Nite event at Disneyland is on May 28 and May 29 this year. The cost is $330 and there is a payment plan available. Please see Jennifer in Student Services for more information.

SENIORS: IF you haven’t placed your cap/gown and grad announcements order yet, you must now order online at Jostens.com or mail your order directly to Jostens. The final deadline to place your grad order is November 8.

FRESHMEN and SOPHOMORES:: Freshmen and sophomore students and their parents who are interested in learning more about Granada’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme are invited to attend an informational meeting tomorrow night from 6:30-7:30 in the Student Union. Topics will include: the IB diploma program requirements, course offerings, earning college credit through IB coursework, and information from IB teachers and current IB diploma students. We look forward to seeing you there!

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES

Join our Spanish club meetings on Wednesdays, during lunch in room P-9. Everyone is welcome! Spanish tutoring has started again. If interested in receiving tutoring or becoming a tutor, inquire with Mrs. Gracia room P-9.

It's time for the Granada Theatre fall play! Detective Partner Hero Villain is set in the world of super heroes and looks at what happens when a person loses sight of where they fit in. Shows are December 8, 9, 15, 16, and 17 starting at 7pm . General admission is $7, of $5 with ASB. December 14th is the Wednesday matinee starting at 2:30pm with ALL tickets just $5.

COUNSELING AND CAREER CENTER

Juniors and seniors who are interested in law, political science, history or criminal justice are encouraged to apply for the District Attorney's Justice Academy. This program allows students to participate in interactive seminars led by professionals in the field and a paid summer internship. Applications are due on Friday. For more information, stop by the Counseling and Career Center.

STUDENT NEWS

PARKING PERMITS for Trimester 2 will be sold to seniors only Tuesday, November 6 through November 8 at lunch and after school in Student Services for $15. Parking Permits will then be sold to everyone on a first come, first serve basis starting Friday, November 9. If you did not have a permit for Trimester 1 then stop by Student Services to pick up an application.
