East Avenue Middle School
Daily Bulletin
September 11, 2019
Good Morning, this is today’s daily bulletin:

This is today’s daily bulletin.  Be safe, be respectful, Be responsible.

And now, please rise for the pledge of allegiance (count to 10 before starting the pledge)

Ready begin (give time for students to stand.)

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

(count to 10 before starting on the rest of the bulletin)

On Sept. 11, 2001, America was forever changed. It has been 18 years since two planes struck the World Trade Center in New York City, but that tragic day, which served as a true test of the American spirit, will be remembered always.  So today we observe Patriot Day and all that it represents—we honor the value of life, our country’s resilience and the strength of the American spirit.

It is now safe to use the water in the drinking fountains and hydration station.  Thank you for your patience while we were without water.

Don’t forget – if you are interested in MathCounts, they are meeting for the first time today after school in room 5.  Any student that enjoys working on challenging math puzzles and problems is welcome to come.  The group will meet every Wednesday from 1:35-2:20 in room 5.

Attention – students interested in auditioning for the school musical, there will be a MANDATORY information meeting after school today in the MPR.

Have a great day and Go Dolphins!
