Alameda County Student Transit Pass Program Information

Due to the pandemic, LATVA/Wheels was offering fare free (no cost) service until recently.  As of October 1st, 2020, they have reinstated fares and bus trips in Alameda County are no longer free.  But all students at East Avenue are eligible to get a FREE Youth Clipper card that provides unlimited free rides on AC Transit.  Students can add cash value to the Clipper card for 50% off BART fares and youth discounts on other transit systems that use Clipper.

During COVID-19, it is especially important that students know how to ride the bus safely to keep themselves, their families, and community healthy.  LATVA/Wheels' new flyer has information about COVID-19 Safety.  Please click here to view the revised flyer in English or revised flyer in Spanish.

To enroll in the Student Transit Pass program, you will need to complete an online application at https://stpp.formstack.com/forms/lvjusd_eastave.  All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required including the Parent or Guardian Signature.  The office will verify the information submitted online.

Please note that if you received a Student Transit Pass Clipper card during the 2019-2020 school year, you do not need to submit a new application.  You can continue to use your existing card.  If your Clipper card has been misplaced, please contact the STPP administrator (Mrs. Summers) at csummers@lvjusd.org to request a replacement card.

When we receives the Clipper card, we will notify the family regarding the distribution of the cards.
