    In just a few weeks we start our 2019-2020 school year! It is going to be an amazing year of learning for all of our Wildcats! Please plan to attend the Wildcat Round Up on 8/13 in our multi-purpose room. This drop in event runs from 5:30-7:30pm. Come pick up your child’s class assignment, join the PTA, purchase new Altamont Creek apparel, find out the scoop on the new school year, see old friends, and meet new friends. You can even enter the raffle to be “Principal for the Day”! New parents, please plan to join us on 8/14 from 6:00-7:00pm for an informational meeting on the school procedures.

  • Wildcat Summer Challenges

    Summer slide is the phrase used to describe the slide backwards that many children make in reading and math skills over the summer. It’s possible for a child to regress 2-3 months back in terms of reading level, meaning they could start school in September at the same reading level they were at in April of the previous year. Summer slide can happen to even the brightest kids, and it doesn’t need to be over a long period of time – even a couple of weeks away from school can soften skills. You can combat summer slide by encouraging your child to devote a small bit of time each day to keeping up skills. Reading for as little as 20 minutes a day can keep the dreaded slide at bay and may very well increase reading skills over the summer.     WILDCATS- We need a school song and we need you to create it! We are going to start a new tradition of having Wednesday Morning Celebrations AND we want to start each celebration with a new school song! Entries should be memorable, easy to sing, instill feelings of pride and affection for ACE, and clock in at 1 minute or less. Each person can submit up to two songs. You can submit as an individual or as part of a team, with a maximum of four people per team.

    Coming to ACE in 2019! Wednesday Morning Celebrations! All ACE Families are invited to join us for our weekly school wide meeting to announce upcoming events, recite the pledge as a school, and recognize students and staff! We are celebrating our awesome school! We understand not everyone can attend the morning celebration, so we are going to record it weekly and send it to our the families.
