High School Diploma Program

  • The Adult High School Diploma Program allows students 18-years-old and over to earn a high school diploma. To earn a diploma from Livermore Adult School, a student must have 170 credits in specific classes. Click here for a breakdown of the required classes. It takes approximately one school year to complete 50 credits.

All classes consist of a combination of class time and independent work. Throughout the school year, the High School Diploma Learning Lab is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30 - 8:30 pm.   This is a time to meet with your teacher, a study group, or to get some work done in a quiet place outside your home. Childcare is available during these hours.

All coursework is completed online. You will work with your teacher to develop a learning plan that best meets your needs. You may choose to meet with your teacher in person or remotely. You may choose to work on campus during Learning Lab Hours, or you may choose to work at home. You may choose a combination of in person and remote learning.
