Citizenship Interview Test Preparation
Learn more about the United States and the rights and privileges of its citizens.
This ESL Citizenship Interview Test Preparation class covers the basics of United States history and government as well as the procedures to become a naturalized citizen. It provides students with an overview of the structure of federal, state, county and city government, and the responsibilites of citizens who live under a democratic form of government. In addition, students will familiarize themselves with the components fo the Immigration and Naturalization Service approved Basic Skills Citizenship Examination.
This class is for students with an intermediate level of English proficiency (CASAS score of 200) or higher.
The class is free to the community. New registrations each month.
