    Dear LVJUSD Parents and Guardians,

    As we close out this final week of school and look forward to the summer, I am sharing our summer meal distribution plans. 

    Last Day of Meal Distribution for 2020-21 School Year is Wednesday, June 9 from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at the following 10 locations: Arroyo Seco, Christensen, East Avenue, Granada, Jackson Avenue, Joe Michell, Junction Avenue, Livermore, Marylin, and Rancho. This meal pick-up will include food for Wednesday, Thursday (last day of school) and the weekend.

    Summer Meals start on Wednesday, June 16. Weekly Wednesday meal kits will be available for pick-up from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at Junction Avenue K-8 School (298 Junction Avenue) for any youth 18 years of age and under. These meal kits will include bulk fruits, vegetables, protein, dairy, and grains for the week. These kits will be distributed each Wednesday from June 16 through August 18.

    Daily Grab-and-Go meals available June 21 - July 15, 2021 Monday - Thursday from 11:10-11:40 a.m. on summer school dates only. These meals are available for all youth 18 and under, regardless of whether they attend summer school. (Friday meals will be served with Thursday Grab-and-Go meals.) Pick-up locations:

    • Granada High School, 400 Wall Street
    • Rancho Elementary, 401 East Jack London Boulevard
    • Jackson Ave Elementary, 554 Jackson Avenue
    • Croce Elementary, 5650 Scenic Avenue

  • Choose Love

    All students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District are participating in the Choose Love social emotional learning curriculum during the 2018-19 school year. Students learn the Choose Love Formula: Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion in Action = Choosing Love Formula.
