Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,
On behalf of the staff at Granada High School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2021-22 school year! This will be my 23rd year at Granada, and throughout that experience, our goal has been to help every student feel welcome and connected with our Granada family at the beginning of the school year. As the school year progresses, we strive to challenge our students to achieve their highest potentials.
Right now we are planning for a full return to in-person schooling for all students and staff. I do not yet know what specific guidelines and protocols might be in place, such as those regarding mask-wearing, but as we get closer to our return and as we are able to provide definitive details then I will communicate those to you.
Despite the challenges of the past year, I am excited and optimistic about what this coming year brings. There will be challenges associated with returning to on-campus schooling full time, but the rewards for students will be substantial. For the first time in several years, our campus will be free of construction projects. Thanks to our community’s generosity through Measure J, students have access to a new weight room, wrestling room, dance/tumbling room, and a brand new pool, among other improvements.
Once again, welcome back! Together let's make it another successful year at Granada!
