• PBIS and Parent Involvement

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, tiered framework for supporting students’ behavioral, academic, social, and mental health. PBIS improves social-emotional competence, academic success, and school climate. It is a way to create positive, equitable, and safe learning environments.

At Vineyard, PBIS is implemented with fidelity in order to provide additional support to students. Students engage in mentor meetings and complete Raven reports as a method of reflecting on each week’s progress or setbacks. If a student needs additional behavioral support, Student Success Team (SST) meetings are in place to discuss ways this child can thrive, both emotionally and academically. As a parent of a Vineyard student, you have the ability to initiate further support. If you would like to request a meeting with school staff to discuss the goals and success of your child, please fill out this Google Form. You will receive a response within 72 hours.
