RUNNING CLUB: We need parent volunteers to help run this incredibly popular program. It's time for Running Club to begin planning for the 2018-2019 school year! If you are interested in helping our students become stronger, healthier, and more focused on learning, we would love to have you! We need people to help pass out sticks, record laps, set up the equipment, and distribute feet. It's a great volunteer opportunity for parents looking for a specific task with a limited time commitment that is finished early in the day. And it is a lot of fun! The GREEN TEAM: The ACE Green Team is seeking to involve parents, grandparents, and community members in energy conservation, schoolyard greening, reducing waste, and recycling. The STEAM TEAM (maker space): Our STEAM lab is a resource-rich space that takes a multidisciplinary approach to help develop the ACE students’ 21st century skills, - information and communications technology (ICT) literacy, and ultimately prepare students to respond better to a future that is yet to be defined. Through collaborative, creative, problem-solving activities that include low tech, high tech, robotics, and kids’ natural passion for hands-on learning, the STEAM Lab will connect learning to life outside the classroom.
