Hello everyone, My name is Bassant Abdelrahman. I am originally from Cairo, Egypt, and relocated to the United States in 2008. I graduated from Misr International University with a Pharmacy Degree and worked as a Pharmacist for a little over three years. When I moved to America I decided to pursue my passion and make my dream come true to become an educator. I started my education Journey in 2012. I taught 7th and 8th-grade science in two reputable districts in Dallas, Texas, and hold a 4-8 Science Teaching Certification. As I grew into leadership positions at my campus, I pursued my Masters of Education Leadership and currently hold a Principal K-12 Certification. In March 2019, my husband was offered a job in Silicon Valley, so we packed our bags, sold our home, and relocated to California with a lot of hopes and dreams. This will be my first year at Christensen Middle School. I will teach both 6th and 7th-grade science. I am very excited about this school year and ready to serve this beautiful community one student at a time.
