New Student Enrollment
For the Current 2022-2023 School Year:
If you are new to Livermore and would like to enroll for the current 22-23 school year, please complete the following:
1. Fill out the New Student Enrollment Online Form
2. Email all required registration documents and any additional documentation such as IEPs, 504s, and/or transcripts to the school Registrar at kkeck@lvjusd.org;
3. Registrar will schedule an intake appointment with the student's assigned counselor.
For the 2023-2024 School Year - Preregistration Now Open!
If you are new to Livermore and would like to pre-register for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, please complete the following:
1. Fill out the New Student Enrollment Online Form for the upcoming 23-24 school year;
2. Email all required registration documents and any additional documentation such as IEPs, 504s, and/or transcripts to the school Registrar at kkeck@lvjusd.org;
3. Attend our EXPO on March 15th from 5-7 to explore course offerings for next year to aid in course selection for next year;
4. Complete online course registration during the March 15 - April 14 registration window. Login information will be emailed to pre-registered students the week of March 15th. Note: Students who pre-register AFTER April 14th will need to complete the course selection worksheet and submit the form directly to the Registrar.
Required Registration Forms
One Proof of Birth Date
- Birth certificate (preferred)
- Passport
- Statement by local registrar or county recorder certifying date of birth
One Parent/Guardian Picture ID
- Driver's license
- California-issued ID

One of the following Proof of Residence from the list below:
- Current mortgage statement (escrow papers that show close of sale no later than seven days after the student's first day of school)
- Property tax bill
- Lease/rental agreement including property address, name of occupants, and signatures of both parties
One Proof of Residence from the list below:
- Current PG&E bill with name and address listed
- Current garbage bill with name and address listed
- Current cable bill with name and address listed
- Current water bill with name and address listed
Proof of Immunizations & Health History Form
- Original and copy of the most current immunization record signed or stamped by a doctor. Immunizations must be in English. For translation services, please visit Axis Community Health. For translation services, please contact Axis Community Health.

Transfers
Intra-District Transfers
Students are reassigned to their school of residence "home school" for the start of high school. The intra-district transfer process allows for students to attend a school other than their home school, provided space is available. Priority will be given to students who submit an intra-district transfer request during open enrollment: January 17, 2023 - March 1, 2023.To submit an intra-district transfer for the current 22-23 school year, please reach out to the student's counselor or administrator.

Intra-District Transfer Timeline
January 17- March 1
- Priority application period for Intra-District Transfers.
- Notification of placement or waitlist status for 9-12 shall be received by the third week of March, including requests for students with IEP's.
- Notification of placement or waitlist status for TK-8 shall be received by the first week of May, including requests for students with IEP's.
March 2-June 1
- Applications received during this time will be processed on a space availability basis.
- Notification of placement or waitlist status for all grades shall be received by the first week of July.
- Applications received after June 1 will be held and reviewed at the beginning of the school year.
June 2- Start of School
- Applications received during this time will be processed on a space availability basis.
- Notification of placement or waitlist status for all grades will be addressed after the start of the school year.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
All applications received within each submission window will be treated the same. There is not a first come, first-served advantage.
Inter-District Transfers
An inter-district transfer enables a student to attend school in a district that is not the district of residence or "home district".
To submit an inter-district transfer application to attend a school in LVJUSD:
- Obtain Inter-District transfer form from your resident school District.
- Complete form and attach necessary documentation (as outlined on page 2 of Alameda County request form).
- Submit forms to your resident school District for approval.
- Typically the resident school District will send it to LVJUSD. Depending on the District, they may allow you to hand carry to LVJUSD.
- LVJUSD will review the forms and information, and approve or deny based on the information provided and space availability.
To submit an inter-district transfer application to attend a school out of LVJUSD:
- Obtain Inter-District Transfer Form in English or in Spanish or paper copies from the District office.
- Complete form and attach necessary documentation (as outlined on page 2 of Alameda Co request form).
- Submit transfer form and information to LVJUSD for approval.
- LVJUSD will process the Inter-District transfer form and send the transfer to the requested District. All requests are sent from LVJUSD to the requested District.
- The requested District will then notify you of their decision.
