PROGRAM DETAILS AND REMINDERS:
- For the first time, students will be able to apply for their free transit pass online. The application is available on the Alameda CTC website, under the ‘Students Apply Here’ tab: https://www.alamedactc.org/programs-projects/studentpass/. The application is available in more than 100 languages! A paper application is also available; however, please note that the online application is preferred. Please only distribute the paper application to students who are unable to access the online version. The application is attached – reach out to your school liaison if you need Spanish and/or Chinese version(s) of the application.
- Timeline: During August and September, applications will be processed on a rolling basis. Starting in October, applications will be processed weekly and shipped to your school within two weeks. As in previous years, we will ship cards directly to your school.
- The website also includes a Student FAQs flyer that can be distributed to students and families to help answer their questions. You can find this flyer on the ‘Students Apply Here’ tab under your school district.
