Degrees and Certifications:
Born at Livermore Valley Memorial Hospital, I am a third-generation Livermore resident. I am a product of the LVJUSD schools. I went to Christensen school from kindergarten through the eighth grade, then graduated from Livermore High School. During my years as a studnet at CMS I had multiple classes in room 207, the classroom I currently teach in.
After High School I attended Las Positas College before transfering to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. There, I majored in Social Sciences with a minor in Education. Immediately following graduating from college, I began substitute teaching in the Livermore School District. I began my full-time teaching career at Marylin Avenue Elementary School in 2011, working with students with moderate to severe disabilities. I taught at Marylin Ave. for 5 years before making the move to CMS in 2016.
In my free time, I enjoy playing golf, softball and basketball, as well as spending time with my wife, Heather, and our two-year old daughter, Hadley. We love attending community events and enjoying the company of our friends and family. My hobbies include coaching golf and basketball, volunteering for the Livermore Valley Education Foundation and co-chairing an annual fundraising event with the Harlem Wizards benefiting the schools in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District.
I am passionate about serving my community. I am always available via email if you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns.
