Mrs. Monica Tracey
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I thought you might like to know a little bit about me. I am married to my wonderful husband, Derrick. We have two sons, Kyle, who recently graduated from ASU and Carson, who is an 11th grader at Granada. They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are cooking, crafting, and most of all traveling. I have lived in Livermore for over 25 years. I grew up in San Ramon and went to California High School and graduated from Chapman University.
This is my twenty-third year of teaching. I have been at Smith for 16 years in first and second grade. Before that, I taught for 7 years at Croce in K-2. I absolutely love teaching. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion for my subject so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners.
