This is the 23rd year that I've been a teacher in Livermore! I started my career 23 years ago here at Rancho. After a brief stint at Rancho, I moved to Sunset Elementary School for 16 years teaching both 3rd and 4th grade. I returned to Rancho 7 years ago to teach 5th grade. I love Rancho for many reasons, but I love it most of all because besides being such an amazing school, it's where I went to 5th grade and elementary school, myself. 5th grade is a BIG year and I will spend the year getting your children ready for middle school, which is right around the corner! My wife is also a teacher and teaches 3rd grade at Smith Elementary School in Livermore. I have 3 children. Having 3 kids keeps me busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I've lived in Livermore for my entire life. I love driving my Jeep, drinking my morning coffee, going on trips to the mountains and the beach, working out and staying fit, and the San Francisco Giants! You will notice that I stress organization, responsibility, respect, and kindness in our classroom. We ARE a little family in Room 26. I love being a teacher and it's important to me that students always give their BEST EFFORT! I do expect students to work hard in class, but I promise that they'll have fun and leave with great memories of this year and learn a lot in the process. I'm ALWAYS here to support my students! Together, let's make this your child's best school year yet!
