Kelly Manke
Kelly Manke brings over 24 years of experience in education to her position as the Assistant Superintendent of Special Education. Most recently, she has served as the LVJUSD Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services with prior experience as a Spanish teacher, Middle School Vice Principal and Principal, a High School Principal, and Director of Human Resources.
The Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) has recognized Ms. Manke twice for her outstanding leadership, in 2014 and 2019.
Ms. Manke and her husband have two teenagers. In her free time, she enjoys attending athletic events, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exercising.
Division Responsibilities
The Special Education department supports school teams in meeting the individual needs of students with evidence-based, developmentally appropriate instruction and interventions, in the least restrictive environment. We provide specialized instruction for children from birth to age 22 who qualify according to the laws and regulations outlined by the state and federal government.
