Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources
Dr. Jessica Bonduris
With nearly 20 years of educational leadership experience, Dr. Jessica Bonduris has served as a teacher, principal, district administrator, and county office leader before joining the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. Most recently, she served as an interim Director of State and Federal Programs and as an Associate Superintendent at the county level. In her role at LVJUSD, she leads the Human Resources Department, supports nearly 1,500 employees, oversees staffing, and serves as a key member of the district's negotiations team.
Dr. Bonduris earned her bachelor's degree and teaching credential from the University of Wisconsin, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Mills College. She is committed to fostering strong partnerships, supporting and retaining exceptional employees, and cultivating a positive organizational culture that helps students, staff, and schools thrive.
Division Responsibilities
The Human Resources department is responsible for all aspects of the District’s labor relations and collective bargaining, workforce recruitment and development, site administrative supervision and evaluation, and enrollment projections and staffing.
