Student Services
The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District is fully committed to equipping parents and guardians to engage with student learning and support student education in the way that makes sense for you and your family. We know that involvement looks different for every family; whether you help your child with their homework and ask them about the exciting content they are learning, or you volunteer at the school site every day, your engagement with your child’s education is crucial to their success.
How We Support Students
The Student Services Department supports all district sites in their efforts to provide safe, orderly learning environments for all students and staff. Student Services coordinates and/or is a resource for the following areas:
- Enrollment
- Intra-District Transfers
- Inter-District Transfers
- Pupil attendance and accounting
- School Attendance Review Board (SARB)
- Implementation/ Disaggregation of California Healthy Kids Survey and other data related to school safety
- Anti-bullying staff development
- Comprehensive School Safety Plans
- Health Services (School Nurses)
- Foster/Homeless Youth Services
- Student Conduct/Suspensions/Expulsions
- Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE)
- Board Policies related to Student Services
- Student Discipline Hearings
