Glenn Sherman
Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Facilities
Glenn Sherman has been working at LVJUSD since October 2011, when he became the Operations Supervisor, overseeing Custodial and Grounds staff. In 2015, Glenn was promoted to Assistant Director of Maintenance, Operations and Facilities, where he also began overseeing Maintenance staff and supporting the Director position. Glenn was promoted to Director in January of 2021.
Glenn moved to Livermore in 1977, attending Mendenhall Middle School and graduated from Granada High School with the class of 1982. Glenn also attended Chabot Valley Campus (Now Las Positas). Prior to starting in the District, Glenn worked a variety of private industry jobs. He was a roofing contractor and a small business owner in the landscaping industry.
Glenn has been married to Cindy Matthews for over 30 years. Cindy is also a product of Livermore Schools, and is a Livermore High graduate who has lived in Livermore her entire life. They have three children, all Livermore High graduates.
Glenn enjoys family, church, and being in the mountains fishing, backpacking, hiking, and exploring in his Jeep.
