Amy Robbins

Executive Director of Human Resources

Amy Robbins brings over 23 years of experience in education to her position as the LVJUSD Executive Director of Human Resources. She has served as a teacher, teacher on special assignment, middle school vice principal and principal, Director of Curriculum & Special Projects, and Director of College & Career Readiness. Ms. Robbins has also served on a variety of professional committees and organizations, including the District’s negotiation team, the Tri-Valley Educational Collaborative’s Administrative Council, and the State’s Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region 6 Career Technical Education Council. She is dedicated to building and nourishing effective teams, creating a culture of success, and doing what is best for staff and students.

Amy’s experience in recruitment, professional development, data-decision making, and educational programs, coupled with her commitment to inclusion and equity, were recognized by ACSA in 2016 and 2022, as she was named Administrator of the Year and the State’s Administrator of the Year. 

Ms. Robbins and her family live in Livermore and her children are enrolled in the District. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and traveling.
