Michelle Dawson

Coordinator of Community Engagement

Michelle Dawson is proud to lead the Community Engagement Department, strengthening communications throughout our district and cultivating partnerships with our community.

Prior to working for the District, Michelle applied her bachelor's degree in Communication Studies to roles at Fortune 100 companies in the corporate world. As the daughter of an educator and with great respect for public education, Michelle was excited to join the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District.  Michelle has worked in a variety of roles, most recently for three 3 years as a Communications Specialist within the Community Engagement Department.  

Ms. Dawson and her husband have two daughters, one a graduate of Granada High School and the other, a current Livermore Cowboy! In her free time, Ms. Dawson enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, scrapbooking, and taking her dog Bailey for walks.
