From November 1 - November 17, 2023, 4th through 12th-grade students had an opportunity to participate in the Panorama Survey. Results of the Panorama Survey help our district to better understand how connected our students feel to their classroom and school. The Panorama Survey also provides us with information about how students perceive their social-emotional learning skills, which impacts their academic achievement. While we encourage participation in this survey to better the educational experience for our students, this is a voluntary survey and is not required. Students were provided an alternative educational activity if they did not participate in the survey.

A comparison of the district's Spring 2023 and Spring 2024 Panorama Survey results indicates improvement in the area of Teacher-Student Relationships among the elementary and secondary students who completed the survey.  Significant gains among 4th through 12th graders were noted in Emotional Regulation and Sense of Belonging.  Fourth and Fifth graders also reported gains in their Growth Mindset, while the Cultural Awareness and Action score yielded significant improvement among Secondary students.

The data from the survey is used to inform our school sites and the District of how our student wellness programs are supporting our students.
