      • Pre-register HERE. (Spanish)

      • See below for required documents for enrollment.
    • Submit an Intra-District transfer request for 2019-2020 enrollment at a school that is NOT your student's assigned home school.

Students need to enroll in LVJUSD schools only once. Students are automatically assigned to their home school when they start elementary, middle, and high school. If students wish to attend a school other than their home school, they should participate in the Intra-District Transfer process. The assigned home school is determined based on home address and can be found on the School Assignment Street Guide.

Enrollment & Transfer Facts

  • My child currently attends TK at an LVJUSD school.

If your child is attending TK at his/her assigned home school, he/she will be automatically enrolled in Kindergarten at that school. However, if your child attended TK at a school other than his/her home school and staying at that school for Kindergarten is desired, an intra-district transfer request will need to be submitted.

My child is currently in 5th grade and will be attending middle school next year.

Your child will be automatically enrolled in his/her assigned middle shool. See the Street Guide if you are unsure of your child's school assignment.

My child is currently in 8th grade and will be attending high school next year.

Your child will be automatically enrolled in his/her assigned high school. See the Street Guide if you are unsure of your child's school assignment.

My child is currently homeschooled or attends private school but would like to attend an LVJUSD school for the 2019-2020 school year.

If your child is entering an elementary grade (TK-5), you will attend a TK/Kinder fair to enroll. If you child is entering middle school (6-8) or high school (9-12), you will go directly to your child's assigned school to complete the enrollment process. See below for additional details, including the Street Guide if you are unsure of your child's school assignment.

I would like my child to attend a school that is NOT his/her assigned home school for the 2019-2020 school year.

Any time a student wishes to attend a school that is not his/her assigned home school, an intra-district transfer request needs to be submitted. The priority transfer request period runs from January 15- March 1, 2019. Transfers are not guaranteed and are granted only if space is available. For more information, see the Intra-District Transfer Request page.
