• Academic Probation

To be eligible to participate in interscholastic participation, a student at Livermore High School must meet all of the following criteria: 1. Have a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0 or higher in the preceding academic trimester; 2. Be eligible according to CIF; 3. Have a current physical form on file; 4. Complete the athletic registration process. A student must meet the above criteria or they will not be allowed to participate in any practices, scrimmages, or contests. A student who fails to satisfy criteria #1 above is immediately academically ineligible for participation in contests or scrimmages. Students who are academically ineligible may apply for a one-time probation.

If a student has a grade point average below 2.0; he or she can apply for a one time probationary period of one quarter. The parents of the student must complete the Probation Application and submit it to the Athletic Director requesting the probationary period and stating the reasons for the request. A student may only have one probation period during high school. The request will be reviewed and the parents will be notified if the probationary period is granted.
