  • LVJUSD Teens Learn How to Help One Another in Crisis

    Sophomores at Livermore High School are learning how to help their friends who may be facing a mental health challenge or crisis. More than half of Livermore High School sophomores completed their Teen Youth Mental Health First Aid training on October 31, 2019. The remaining 10th graders will be trained in January 2020.   • Community Comes Together to Support Special Olympic Student Athletes

    Granada High School hosted students from Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, and Castro Valley for the Tri-Valley Northern California Special Olympics soccer competitions. Hundreds of students from over 30 schools participated in two days of inspiring competition.

  • LVJUSD Framework for Success

    The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Under the umbrella of the LVJUSD framework, the three components that address students’ needs are Academics, Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

    All students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District are participating in the Choose Love social emotional learning curriculum during the 2018-19 school year. Students learn the Choose Love Formula: Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion in Action = Choosing Love Formula.

    Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) is an award-winning district that serves more than 13,900 students in transitional kindergarten through 12th grade at nine elementary campuses, two K-8 schools, three middle schools, two comprehensive high schools, and two alternative schools. Livermore Schools offer specialized progams including International Baccalaureate Programmes, Green Engineering Academy, Dual Immersion Program and Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) pathways.
