  • PCIC Hosts School Board Candidate Forum

    The Parent Club Information Council (PCIC) of LVJUSD will host a School Board Candidate Forum on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Two seats are open on the five-member Board of Education. Five residents will be listed on the ballot as official candidates: Yanira Guzman, Kandiss Hewing, Charles “Chuck” Rogge (incumbent), Asa Strout, and Kristie Wang.

  • Congressman Swalwell Visits Livermore High School

    Congressman Eric Swalwell connected virtually with Livermore High AP Government students to discuss governance, current issues on the minds of young people, and the importance of voting. Students were able to ask questions about how to become more educated and involved in government through internships and other educational opportunities.

  • First Virtual Livermore Valley Wine Auction Raises $85,000 for School Meals

    To address the challenges and opportunities presented by the year 2020, the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association and the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation came together over the summer to celebrate wine country and fundraise for local school meal programs. We are extremely grateful for their generosity and support of our students and schools!

  • Mask Up for Livermore Campaign!

    In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community, the City of Livermore, Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD), and Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD) are proud to announce the Mask Up for Livermore campaign, a robust effort to encourage mask wearing in Livermore. Join us during the week of September 13th in our social media campaign by posting pictures of you in your mask with the hashtag #MaskUpForLivermore!

    Students and parents are invited to explore post-secondary opportunities through virtual webinars and Q& A sessions October 6 - October 8 from 4-8:30pm.   • LVJUSD Framework for Success

    The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Under the umbrella of the LVJUSD framework, the three components that address students’ needs are Academics, Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

  • Choose Love

    All students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District are participating in the Choose Love social emotional learning curriculum during the 2018-19 school year. Students learn the Choose Love Formula: Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion in Action = Choosing Love Formula.

    Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) is an award-winning district that serves more than 13,900 students in transitional kindergarten through 12th grade at nine elementary campuses, two K-8 schools, three middle schools, two comprehensive high schools, and two alternative schools. Livermore Schools offer specialized progams including International Baccalaureate Programmes, Green Engineering Academy, Dual Immersion Program and Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) pathways.
