Welcome to Arroyo Seco!
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am honored to continue my service to the school community as principal at Arroyo Seco Elementary School beginning this year. Our committed and talented staff continue to nurture the social, emotional and academic growth for each child. We continue to build capacity to bring our students relevant, engaging lessons through S.T.E.A.M units, and the expanding use of our updated Makerspace. We recognize our role in partnering with you to assure your child is welcomed, valued, acknowledged, and cared for throughout their journey at Arroyo Seco, seeking to build relationships with you to assure your child's success and well-being at our school and beyond. We are honored to have you and your child as part of our Arroyo Seco family.

All Kids Are Our Kids
The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District affirms its unwavering commitment to support all students. The District mission, "Each student will graduate with the skills needed to contribute and thrive in a changing world," is a promise to each student in our District.
LVJUSD Framework for Success
The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Under the umbrella of the LVJUSD framework, the three components that address students’ needs are Academics, Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).
All students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District participate in the Choose Love social emotional learning curriculum during the school year. Students learn the Choose Love Formula: Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion in Action = Choosing Love Formula.
