    • Any 7th grade student that is interested in going to Japan with the Livermore/Yotsukaido Sister City Organization should attend the meeting scheduled for next Tuesday, March 26th, at East Avenue School Library at 8:00 PM.  All interested 7th graders must bring a parent or guardian to this meeting. Come and learn about this once in a lifetime opportunity from students who have gone in the past. If you have any questions see the flyer posted on the main office window.
    • Congratulations Junction Ave. Colorguard on a fabulous performance at the Granada Fiesta, taking 2nd Place,  AND increasing your score by almost 20 points. We are so proud of you and keep up the Good Work!!! Go BullDogs!
    • The following students from Junction did a fantastic job as members of our district wide debate team that traveled to Salinas High School on Saturday to take part in a competition:  Lizbeth Cruz, America Garcia, Sebastian Martinez, Nallely Ortiz, Brittany Robles, Francisco Rodriguez, and Diego Vazquez. The team competed against many others and brought home 1st and 2nd place trophies. We are very proud of them all!
    • The Harlem Wizards are coming to Livermore!  Games sell out fast so buy your tickets now. The student ticket prices are $13.00 and general ticket prices are $15.00.  They play at Livermore high on Thursday, April 25th and Granada High on Friday, April 26th. Tickets are available for purchase online at this link or come by the office for an order form.
    • Junction's Got Talent is here!  Auditions are next Tuesday the 26th in the MPR right after school.  Spots are limited so make sure you are prepared. Please see your teacher for permission slips if you want to try out.  Teachers, a Talent Show commercial was emailed to you last week, in case you want to show it to your class. Hope to see you soon!
    • If you haven’t purchased your yearbook yet, do it now!  The last day to purchase yearbooks is April 10th.  Don’t be left without one.
    • This is Spirit Week:  Today is Animal Day, tomorrow is Twin Day, and Friday is Purple Day.
    • The Running Club meets every Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:00-8:15.  
    • Every Monday is Mindfulness Monday in the media center next to the library.
    • GSA, the Gender Spectrum Alliance, always meet on Mondays during 4b lunch in room 17.
    • Chess Club meets every Wednesday during both lunches in room 7.  
    • Bulldogs - please, please, for your own safety and the safety of others - follow the instructions of the crossing guard!  Even if you think it’s clear to cross, don’t do it unless the crossing guard signals for you to cross.
    • Remember…… BE A BULLDOG.  This stands for BE RESPONSIBLE, BE RESPECTFUL, and BE SAFE!

  • LVJUSD Framework for Success

    The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Under the umbrella of the LVJUSD framework, the three components that address students’ needs are Academics, Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

  • Choose Love

    All students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District are participating in the Choose Love social emotional learning curriculum during the 2018-19 school year. Students learn the Choose Love Formula: Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion in Action = Choosing Love Formula.
