Starting this 2024-25 school year, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has discontinued its school-specific COVID-19 guidance. KARE Zone After-School Program
The California Department of Education (CDE) provides funding for school districts to establish locally-driven Expanded Learning programs. The ASES program provides safe and educationally enriching alternatives for children and youth during non-school hours. These programs are created through partnerships between schools and local community resources to provide literacy, academic enrichment and safe constructive alternatives for students in Transitional Kindergarten through sixth (TK-6). LVJUSD Framework for Success
The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Under the umbrella of the LVJUSD framework, the three components that address students’ needs are Academics, Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).
