What's Happening at East Ave.

  • MathCounts

    On Saturday, January 12th, more than 130 students from all the Livermore Middle Schools gathered in Granada High School’s student union for the 24th annual Livermore MathCounts competition. East Avenue mathletes made us proud- a team from East Ave. took 2nd place and students from East Ave. scored three of the top ten places.   • Spelling Bee

    The East Avenue written Spelling Bee preliminary test was held on January 10th. From here, 17 finalists will move on to the Oral Spelling Bee which will be held on Tuesday Jan. 22nd at 6:00 PM in the school library.   • Geography Bee

    The National Geographic Geography Bee preliminary competition will be held after school on January 15th at 2:40 in Room 11. Finals will be on the 17th, after school in Room 11. All students are welcome.

  • LVJUSD Framework for Success

    The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Under the umbrella of the LVJUSD framework, the three components that address students’ needs are Academics, Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

    All students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District are participating in the Choose Love social emotional learning curriculum during the 2018-19 school year. Students learn the Choose Love Formula: Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion in Action = Choosing Love Formula.
