  • LVJUSD's 2020-21 School Year Handbook

    We are pleased to present a comprehensive overview of the 2020-21 school year with our handbook for students and families. This resource provides information about distance learning, including sample schedules, as well as a preview of hybrid learning when we are able to welcome students back to our school sites.   • Friends 4 Life Coming Soon

    Interested in being part of a small group of students who meet weekly to talk about life, school and friendship? Groups will be limited to 6-8 students, new groups will form throughout the year. Same gender and mixed gender groups will be offered. Please email Mrs. Galehzan at rgalehzan@lvjusd.org if you are interested or have any questions.

  • New Connections Club - Meet New Friends

    We have two new clubs starting up this week: New Connections for 6th Graders and New Connections for 7th/8th Graders. Both clubs are on Wednesdays - 6th graders from 11:00-11:30 AM and 7th and 8th graders from 11:30 AM-noon. Please click on the title for more information and links to these groups.

  • Homework Club Now on Mondays and Thursdays

    Homework Club- will now meet on Mondays and Thursdays, from 3:15 to 4:15 pm. A virtual place to check in and get a little help with your homework (staying motivated, getting a little help with difficult assignments, etc.). Open to all students.   • Picture Days are Coming to East Avenue

    East Avenue has been working with Lifetouch to safely schedule picture days for the 20-21 school year. Pictures will be taken Wed., Nov. 4 for 6th graders, Thursday, Nov. 5 for 7th graders, and Friday, Nov. 6 for 8th graders. Lifetouch has established all new protocols and procedures to ensure safety is our top priority for all parties involved. CDC guidelines will be implemented at all events along with our own comprehensive PPE and cleaning procedures.   • Yearbooks for Sale While Supplies Last

    If you didn't order a yearbook last year, we have a few extras for sale for $50 each - first come, first served. If you did order a yearbook and haven't picked it up yet, please come pick it up from the office Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00.

  • Free Breakfast and Lunch for all Youth

    Great News! We have resumed offering FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH for all 18 and under youth through the end of 2020, thanks to a USDA waiver. Meals will be served in front of our school Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM- 12:30 PM.

  • Be Part of East Avenue's Own Student News Show

    East Avenue students - here's your chance to participate in Splash - a student news show. Students involved in this project write, edit, film, and produce a weekly show with guidance from Kelly Cartwright.     The District Community Engagement Department has provided Schoology information for our East Avenue Families. Students should log in to Schoology each school day according to the Distance Learning Schedule above.   • Free* COVID 19 Testing Benefits Schools

    STAT-MED Urgent Care in Livermore is offering free* COVID-19 Testing. (*$0 out of pocket to patients, whether you have insurance or not - including Kaiser members.) Additionally, STAT MED will donate $5 per COVID Test to LVEF's 2020 Connecting Classrooms with Chromebooks Fundraiser. STAT MED is located at 4465 First Street.   • Library Book Curbside Pickup

  • Livermore Library Offers Free Online Tutoring

    The Livermore Public Library is now offering a FREE on demand tutoring service through Tutor.com. Find more information about this amazing service on their website: www.livermorelibrary.net. As a reminder, all LVJUSD students grades 6-12 have their own library card - it’s their Student ID card.   • Alameda County Student Transit Pass Program Information

    Eligible students get a FREE Youth Clipper card that provides unlimited free rides on AC Transit. Students can add cash value to the Clipper card for 50% off BART fares and youth discounts on other transit systems that use Clipper.
