CMS Early Release Days January 31-February 3, 2023
Tuesday, January 31, through Friday, February 3, are early release days for CMS students. Zero period classes will meet at their regular time on their normal days at 7:30 a.m. The 1:31 p.m. dismissal time is for all students.

Trimester 2 Progress Report (P2) Cards
Christensen will send emails to parents with links to their child’s 2022-2023 Trimester 2 progress report (P2) using the email address on file no later than February 3.

LLNL Science on Saturday 2023
The 2023 Science on Saturday series, “70 Years of Science”, will highlight research areas ongoing at the Laboratory for the past seventy years. This year Science on Saturday has a new location – the campus of Las Positas College. Each hour-long presentation will begin at 10 a.m. Registration is required.

CMS Athletic Clearance Procedure
The CMS Athletic Department is implementing a new system for students and families to submit information for athletic clearance requests.

Alameda County Student Transit Clipper Card Program
The Alameda County Transportation Commission continues to fund a student transit pass program to support ridership in Alameda County. All LVJUSD middle and high school students are eligible to receive a free Clipper card good during the 2022/23 school year.

Traffic Safety
We encourage students and families to be aware of cars, bikes, skateboarders, and pedestrians as we travel to and from school each day.

The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Choose Love
All students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District participate in the Choose Love social emotional learning curriculum during the school year. Students learn the Choose Love Formula: Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion in Action = Choosing Love Formula.
