The Livermore Public Library invites the community to join its annual Summer Learning Program, from May 26 through August 4, with opportunities for readers of all ages to learn, explore, and win exciting prizes.
LVJUSD Students at Climate Literacy Conference
LVJUSD students represented the district at the Bay Area Climate Literacy Conference, sharing their learning alongside peers from across the region.
Students participated in presentations, a youth climate action panel, and a closing ceremony performance, showcasing their leadership and commitment to environmental issues.
Their work highlights the powerful role students play in advancing climate literacy and making a positive impact in their communities.
Visit from the Chamber of Commerce
Marylin Avenue STEAM Academy welcomed the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Livermore group for a visit highlighting the school's dynamic STEAM magnet program. Guests experienced staff presentations, student-led tours, performances, and hands-on activities.
The visit showcased student creativity and innovation, culminating in a fun "trashion show" where guests designed fashion accessories from recycled materials.

A superintendent finalist has been unanimously selected by the LVJUSD Board of Education. Contract approval is set for June 16th.
