    Both comprehensive high schools will have new principals for 2019-20, and LVJUSD will welcome two current administrators to the District-level leadership team.

  • Celebrate Marylin Avenue Elementary's 60th Anniversary

    The community is invited to join Marylin Avenue Elementary School for its 60th Anniversary Celebration on May 23, 2019, from 5:00 - 7:15 p.m. There will be a formal presentation at 6:00 p.m. The celebration will be held in the school's multi-purpose room featuring photos of past staff, students, and events, along with a slide presentation on the history of the school. Food will be for sale on the blacktop.

    Mental Health Awareness Month is about educating ourselves on the impact mental health has on our lives. It's about breaking the stigma around talking about mental health and mental illness, sharing tools for how to proactively strengthen your mental health, and providing resources and support for those coping with mental illness.   • LVJUSD Framework for Success

    The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Under the umbrella of the LVJUSD framework, the three components that address students’ needs are Academics, Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

    All students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District are participating in the Choose Love social emotional learning curriculum during the 2018-19 school year. Students learn the Choose Love Formula: Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion in Action = Choosing Love Formula.

    Clark Conover

    Congratulations to one of LVJUSD’s own, Clark Conover, future inductee into the California Wrestling Hall of Fame! Clark is currently Vice Principal at Granada High School, however, his roots were planted in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District in elementary school at Arroyo Seco. To read more about Clark's education, career and wrestling achievements, click on his name above!
