  • 2022 LCAP Update - Available for Viewing

    Each year, our District updates its current Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) to show progress on LCAP goals and any modifications or adjustments to LCAP expenditures. Our DRAFT 2022 LCAP Update was presented to the Board of Education at the June 14, 2022 Board Meeting for discussion, and then presented for approval by the Board at the June 28, 2022 Board Meeting.   • Sixteen LVJUSD Schools Receive PBIS Awards

    A commitment to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) strategies by Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) schools has resulted in the award of sixteen 2022 California PBIS Coalition (CPC) recognitions. Junction Avenue TK-8 was one of four schools, including Croce Elementary, Rancho Las Positas Elementary, and Mendenhall Middle School to receive Gold Awards, the highest level of recognition to date for Livermore schools since beginning the implementation of PBIS cohorts in 2018.   • Altamont Creek Elementary Named 2022 U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon School

    The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District is proud to announce that Altamont Creek Elementary School (ACES) received a 2022 U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools award at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. this summer.     The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Under the umbrella of the LVJUSD framework, the three components that address students’ needs are Academics, Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

Our Mission

    Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) is an award-winning district that serves more than 13,900 students in transitional kindergarten through 12th grade at nine elementary campuses, two K-8 schools, three middle schools, two comprehensive high schools, and two alternative schools. Livermore Schools offer specialized progams including International Baccalaureate Programmes, Green Engineering Academy, Dual Immersion Program and Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) pathways.
