Word Wizards Cast a Spell at LVJUSD Spelling Bee
Every competitor, representing the top spellers at each of their respective school sites, spelled their way through an impressive array of words while the audience held its breath. The poise and sportsmanship of each student contributed to a respectful atmosphere for both competitions.

School Spirit Competition Connects Community at Christensen Middle School
Although the school is symbolically divided into four houses, the 5-Star program is about bringing the school together. Everyone has an opportunity to express pride in their campus, classmates, and coworkers.

Super Saturday 2019 a Great Day for Friends and Football
The tradition started in 2008 as a way to cultivate bonds between the primary male role models for students and as a way to engage families in a school spirit activity. The game is sponsored by Altamont Creek and Croce Elementary PTAs, along with community sponsors A4 Limo, Amos Productions, Big O Tires, and Hop de Vine.

New Campus Catering Director Enhancing Nutrition at LVJUSD
LVJUSD is pleased to welcome Lenea Pollett as its new Campus Catering Director. Pollett brings to Livermore a vision of enhancing the appeal and the impact of student nutrition at school. She plans to teach parents and guardians about nutrition, and to implement cooking clubs in after-school programs.

LVJUSD Framework for Success
The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Under the umbrella of the LVJUSD framework, the three components that address students’ needs are Academics, Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

Choose Love
All students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District are participating in the Choose Love social emotional learning curriculum during the 2018-19 school year. Students learn the Choose Love Formula: Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion in Action = Choosing Love Formula.
